Robert C. Feldman, MD

Robert C. Feldman, MD founded the practice in 1990. He is now happily and officially retired. Our staff and patients thank Dr. Feldman for his service, dedication, and contributions for the past 30+ years. Dr. Feldman was selected as one of Washington’s “Outstanding Physicians” and “Top Doctors” during his years of active practice.

Terry Y. Kwak, MD

Terry Kwak, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist with subspecialty training in corneal and LASIK surgery. He received his undergraduate degree from the Hcnors College of Kent State University and received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Kwak completed his ophthalmology training at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn (Downstate Medical Center). Subsequently, he completed advanced fellowship training in cornea and refractive surgery at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York, where he gained extensive experience in treating corneal and external disease, corneal transplantation surgery, and laser vision correction. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the American Medical Association.

Shannen K. Allen, MD

Shannen K. Allen, MD is a board certified ophthalmologist. Her undergraduate degree is from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Following a research fellowship at The National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Allen went on to receive her medical degree at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland.

She completed her ophthalmology training at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington D.C. Dr. Allen is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Medical Association.

Gregory L. Fu, MD

Gregory L. Fu, MD practices comprehensive ophthalmology. He was born and raised in the DC Metro area. After attending Thomas S. Wootton high school, he graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in bio-engineering. 

Dr. Fu obtained his medical degree nearby at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and was selected by the Department of Ophthalmology to receive the George Frick Award for Excellence in Ophthalmology. He then completed his ophthalmology residency training at Loyola University Medical Center / Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital in Chicago, IL, where he earned accolades for his patient care, educational/teaching prowess, and his research.

He is excited and joyful to finally return home and have the opportunity to serve the community that raised him. Dr. Fu strives to provide excellent, ethical, and compassionate care in a professional and friendly environment. His passions include spending time with his wife and young son, football, and enjoying  good food with friends and family.

Divya Bhandari, OD

Divya Bhandari, OD is a board-certified Optometrist. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Calgary, Canada and her optometry degree from Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. She has been practicing comprehensive optometry in the MD/ DC area for 18+ years. Her optometry experience includes specialty contacts such as scleral lenses & multifocals, as well as ocular disease and surgical comanagement.
 

She is excited to join the professional team at the Eye Center and strives to provide the best in quality eye care.  Dr. Bhandari is passionate about staying active and enjoys the outdoors by hiking/biking with her two teenage kids and husband. She believes in giving back to the community and strives to volunteer in various activities organized by non profit organizations.
